    Annual Membership for the 2024-2025 WIAFP Lunch Meetings

    The Wisconsin Association for Financial Professionals (WIAFP) welcomes membership from both corporate practitioners and service providers. Our diversity stems from having members from a variety of Wisconsin-based corporations and from organizations who provide cash management and treasury solutions within the Wisconsin market.

    We hold monthly meetings from October to May. Meetings cover topics such as cash management systems, economic issues, cash forecasting, finance, banking regulations, industry trends and updates, cyber-security, and best practices. The 2024-2025 annual membership fee is $500.

    Ascent Global Logistics

    Bryan Kamm leads the Tax and Risk Management functions for Ascent Global Logistics, a leading provider of premium freight logistics services for time-critical supply chain needs, as well as international freight forwarding, and domestic freight brokerage. Ascent is PE-owned, headquartered in the Detroit, MI area, and is an award-winning supplier and partner to various Fortune 500 companies, primarily in the automotive and mobility industries, serving customers through people and technology. 

    Bryan has been with Ascent since its spin-off in 2020 from Roadrunner Transportation Systems, where he established and grew their tax department from 2016-2020. During his time with Ascent and Roadrunner, he has been responsible for all aspects of tax planning and tax compliance, implemented tax savings strategies, as well as supported multiple corporate divestitures, the spin-off of Ascent, and Ascent’s 2023 sale to H.I.G. From 2007 to 2016, he was part of Baker Tilly’s tax practice, serving manufacturing, distribution, and other middle-market clients out of the firm’s Milwaukee office. He is a CPA and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and holds a Masters of Accountancy-Tax (2007) and BBA-Accounting (2006).
