Miller Park - Public / Private Partnership
Steve Duckett, the Executive Director of the Miller Park District, will provide an update on the Brewers ballpark. The update will include a look back on the creation of the public / private partnership, the shared funding agreement, the development of the facility, a reflection on the first 17 seasons at Miller Park, the current status of the ballpark and a discussion of the future of the facility – including the “light at the end of the tunnel” for the 0.1% Miller Park Sales Tax.
The update on Miller Park will address lessons learned throughout the process and a forecast of what to expect at the ballpark from this point forward. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers on any topics related to the District’s and the taxpayers’ role at the ballpark – past, present and future.
